Kathleen Kennedy is stepping down after 13 years at Lucasfilm, with Dave Filoni set to become president and chief creative officer (co-led by Lynwen Brennan) and report to Disney’s Alan Bergman. The move caps a tenure that yielded streaming hits like The Mandalorian and Andor and the film Rogue One while facing fan frustration over some big-screen projects, and signals Disney's plan to push Star Wars forward with upcoming projects such as Star Wars: Starfighter.
