Suranne Jones Stars in Fast-Paced Political Thriller 'Hostage'
TL;DR
Netflix's 'Hostage' is a political thriller about UK and French leaders dealing with crises, but it falls short due to shallow characters, predictable plot, and questionable gender tropes, making it forgettable despite some strong performances.
