Taylor Swift Honors Fan Who Passed Away at Concert with Final Eras Tour Show
TL;DR
The family of Ana Clara Benevides Machado, a Taylor Swift fan who tragically died during the Eras Tour in Rio de Janeiro, attended the final show in São Paulo, Brazil. Swift met with the family before the concert, and they watched the show from a VIP tent. The family wore shirts with Benevides' face on them. Questions have been raised about the safety measures taken by the tour producer in Brazil, and experts recommend that Swift's team prioritize concertgoer safety in future shows. The Eras Tour will resume in 2024 in Tokyo, Japan.
