Voice alum Dylan Carter dies at 24 in South Carolina car crash

Dylan Carter, a 24-year-old former The Voice season 24 contestant, died after a single-vehicle crash in Colleton County, South Carolina; authorities say he was alone when his car ran off the road, struck a utility pole and fence, and overturned before he succumbed to his injuries. Carter co-founded The Local Voice nonprofit supporting breast-cancer families, was scheduled to perform at Moncks Corner’s Music on Main, and tributes poured in from his hometown mayor and former coach Reba McEntire.
