Biden and AOC link Canadian wildfires to climate crisis, send aid and firefighters.

President Joe Biden has sent aid and firefighters to Canada to help tackle the wildfires that have caused unhealthy levels of smoke and haze across the East Coast and Midwest of the US. Over 600 US firefighters and support personnel have been deployed since May to work alongside Canadian firefighters. There are currently 437 active wildfires across Canada, with nearly 250 labeled as out of control. Americans on the East Coast are being advised to mask up amid air quality alerts that are expected to stay in effect through Friday.
