Canadian Wildfires Cause Air Quality Concerns Across Northern US and Canada.

Smoke from hundreds of wildfires burning across Canada has caused air quality alerts to be issued from Minnesota to Massachusetts, with hazy skies and poor air quality affecting parts of New York State and Vermont. More than 400 active wildfires were burning in Canada, with over 200 of them out of control, exacerbating an already active wildfire season that is only expected to worsen. Over 26,000 people across Canada have been evacuated from their homes because of the fires, with many having just a few hours to pack before fleeing.
