Flu Deaths Rise in Multiple States, Vaccine Demand Surges

Flu cases in New Hampshire are currently sporadic, with two adult flu deaths reported this season. Dr. Erik Shessler advises that the top three illnesses to watch out for are COVID-19, the flu, and RSV. He emphasizes the importance of maintaining physical and mental health to avoid getting sick, including eating a healthy diet, getting enough sleep, exercising, washing hands, wearing masks, and getting vaccinated. There has been an increase in respiratory illnesses in local emergency rooms and urgent cares, and RSV cases have been on the rise. So far, there have been no pediatric flu deaths in New Hampshire this season.
