After being transferred to a hospital in Wichita, Kansas, Jaci was finally able to receive the D&C procedure. Oklahoma's confusing abortion laws and restrictions have made it difficult for physicians to provide necessary care, and the state's Supreme Court recently struck down a law requiring a patient's life to be in danger for an abortion to be performed.
