Four children who survived a plane crash in the Amazon jungle that killed their mother have been found alive after 40 days. The children, aged between 13 and an infant, were described as "children of the jungle" by Colombia's President Gustavo Petro, who praised their "total survival" and said they had been saved by their learning from indigenous families. The children were found together and are being evaluated by doctors, with their mental state to be assessed.
