Zelensky's US Visit: Will Ukraine Secure Military Aid?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is traveling to Washington DC in an attempt to salvage a threatened $60 billion US defense package for Ukraine, which has become entangled in domestic US politics. This is Zelensky's third visit to the US since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The aid package is currently stalled in Congress, facing opposition from Republicans who argue for more funding towards domestic security. Zelensky will meet with President Joe Biden, address the Senate, and seek to secure continued support for Ukraine's defense against Russia's invasion.
