Unarmed Black Man Attacked by Police K-9 Dog Despite Surrender
TL;DR
An unarmed Black man, Jadarrius Rose, was attacked by a police K-9 dog while surrendering with his hands up, despite a state trooper urging officers not to release the dog. The incident occurred after a pursuit of a semi-truck that failed to stop for an inspection. The video footage shows the dog being released and attacking Rose, who can be heard screaming for help. The NAACP has condemned the officers' actions as "barbaric" and called for a thorough investigation. Rose was treated at a hospital and later released from jail.
