FTX Files Lawsuit Alleging Sam Bankman-Fried's Misuse of Funds for Personal Gain

A new lawsuit filed by the FTX bankruptcy estate alleges that Gabe Bankman-Fried, brother of Sam Bankman-Fried, planned to use FTX funds to purchase the island nation of Nauru and build an apocalypse bunker for himself and other "effective altruists." The lawsuit also claims that the executives of FTX, including Sam Bankman-Fried, fraudulently transferred funds and used customer money for personal expenses, including setting up a charity called the FTX Foundation. The estate is seeking the return of property and monetary damages, while Sam Bankman-Fried awaits a criminal trial and other executives have pleaded guilty to criminal charges. Gabe Bankman-Fried has not been accused of any wrongdoing in the collapse of FTX.
