Josh Kraft Withdraws from Boston Mayoral Race Following Wu's Lead
TL;DR
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu responded positively to her rival Josh Kraft's decision to drop out of the mayoral race, which she sees as a move towards unity. Wu had a significant victory in the preliminary election, and Kraft's withdrawal, along with his donation of campaign funds to local charities, virtually secures Wu's re-election. It remains uncertain if Kraft will appear on the November ballot, depending on legal and procedural steps.
