Trump's Phoenix visit triggers weekend road closures and detours
TL;DR
President Trump's Phoenix appearance for a Turning Point USA event will trigger weekend freeway closures and detours around SR 51, Loop 101 and I-17, with doors opening at 9 a.m. April 17; drivers should plan ahead, use detours, and monitor AZ511 for real-time traffic, as nearby events (Suns game and Reggae Rise Up) may also cause delays.
