Two Chicago officers shot inside Swedish Hospital; suspect detained after hospital incident

Two Chicago police officers were shot inside Swedish Hospital in Lincoln Square by a prisoner who got hold of a gun. The officers were listed in critical condition and transported to Illinois Masonic. The shooter fled the scene but was later taken into custody after a SWAT operation near a nearby home. Authorities urged residents to shelter in place as the investigation continued.
