Devastating Storms Ravage Great Lakes Region, Leaving Death and Destruction

Severe storms in Michigan and Ohio have left over 600,000 people without power, with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer declaring a state of emergency due to flooding. The storms have resulted in at least four deaths, including a woman and two children killed in a car crash during heavy rain. The severe weather also caused flight delays and cancellations, and there were reports of a possible tornado in Ingham County. Power outages are concentrated in southeastern and south-central Michigan, as well as northeastern Ohio.
