Southern US hit by deadly tornadoes and storms.

Tornadoes have killed one person and injured about two dozen in Mississippi, as a heatwave continues to affect the southern United States, causing thunderstorms, flooding, and power outages. The heatwave has left over 400,000 people without electricity, and the National Weather Service has warned of critical fire weather conditions in the Southwest. Climate change has increased the threat of extreme heat and shifted "Tornado Alley" farther east, into more vulnerable, populated areas.
