Air Force Disciplines Personnel for Failing to Act on Alleged Pentagon Leaker

Teixeira's supervisors were aware of his actions but did not report them, and several members of his unit had knowledge of his activities but feared overreacting. The investigation concluded that the unit lacked adequate supervision, and 15 individuals, including Col. Sean Riley, have faced consequences for their roles. Teixeira was indicted on unauthorized disclosure charges after classified documents appeared online, but he pleaded not guilty.
