Biden urges Russia to release detained Wall Street Journal reporter.

President Biden has called for Russia to release Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, who has been accused of espionage. Gershkovich is spending his third day in Russian captivity after being accused of trying to obtain secret information on the activities of one of the enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex. The National Press Club and the Wall Street Journal have both called for his immediate release, with the WSJ denying the allegations against him. Gershkovich is the first American reporter to be arrested on espionage charges in Russia since 1986.
