Mixed Reactions Mark the Great American State Fair
TL;DR
TPM’s weekend dispatch from the Great American State Fair on the National Mall captures a mix of awe, confusion, and frustration among attendees—an angry admission of “I’m mad at Trump,” a lineup of booths (Freedom Truck, AMAC, a ‘Great Awakening’ stall, a DOJ/BOP display, a Trump passport) and a sense that the exhibit reflects a warped, faith-forward strand of modern conservatism—before shifting to Alaska’s Dan Sullivan ballot drama and a ranked list of Trump-fair headlines.
