Republicans Face Death Threats for Voting Against Jim Jordan as House Speaker

Several Republicans, including Rep. Ken Buck, have received death threats and threatening calls for voting against Rep. Jim Jordan as House Speaker. Don Bacon's wife, have also reported receiving threats. Jordan has condemned the threats, but the House Republican caucus remains at an impasse. Jordan's proposal to empower acting speaker Patrick McHenry was rejected, and the next Speaker vote could happen as early as Friday.
