"Scandal Surrounding Georgia Prosecutors Fani Willis and Nathan Wade Sparks Controversy"

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan is seeking communications and records from Nathan Wade, a private attorney hired by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to aid in the investigation against former President Donald Trump. Jordan alleges that Wade may have misused federal funds by billing the county for trips he took with Willis while the two had an alleged affair, and for meetings with the White House and the House January 6th Select Committee. The invoices were made public in a filing by a co-defendant in the case, who argued that Wade's relationship with Willis compromised the prosecution. Wade, who did not deny the allegations, is asked to hand over documents and communications by January 26.
