"Stranded Castaways Rescued After Using 'HELP' Sign on Tiny Island"
TL;DR
Three men in their 40s, stranded on Pikelot Atoll for over a week, were rescued after creating a "Help" sign with palm leaves on the beach, which was spotted by a US Coast Guard and Navy aircraft. The mariners were found after a distress call from a relative prompted a search and rescue operation, and were saved by a US Coast Guard ship on April 9.
