Giants' Late-Game Heroics Stun Mets in Third Straight Comeback Win
TL;DR
Matt Chapman's defensive heroics secured the San Francisco Giants' thrilling 8-7 comeback win over the New York Mets. With the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Chapman made a bare-handed throw to first baseman LaMonte Wade Jr., narrowly beating the runner to the bag. This victory marked the Giants' third consecutive come-from-behind win and brought them to .500 for the first time since March 31. The Giants are now just half a game back from the third NL Wild Card spot, fueled by a recent surge in offensive performance.
