McIlroy Opens 2026 PGA Championship with 74, Promises a Fightback
TL;DR
Rory McIlroy shot a 4-over 74 in the opening round at Aronimink, carding two birdies and six bogeys (five in the final six holes) as wind and errant driving hampered him. He said the round was frustrating and will need a solid Friday to make the cut and challenge for a comeback.
