"Mets Secure David Stearns as President of Baseball Operations: What's Next?"
TL;DR
The New York Mets have hired David Stearns as their president of baseball operations, raising several important questions for the team. These include the timeline for winning a championship, the future of Pete Alonso, whether Buck Showalter is the right manager for the team's youth movement, how to proceed with young position players, the uncertainty surrounding Starling Marte's health and role in the outfield, and the composition of the 2024 rotation. Stearns will have to address these issues as he takes charge of the Mets' baseball operations.
