TL;DR

Michigan has fired offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell after the Wolverines' offense plummeted to No. 128 in total offense for the 2024 season, averaging fewer than 300 yards per game. Campbell, who was promoted after Jim Harbaugh's departure, struggled with a quarterback room that ranked near the bottom nationally in passing offense. Tight ends coach Steve Casula will serve as interim coordinator as Michigan searches for a replacement, a crucial decision with top recruit Bryce Underwood joining in 2025.
