Raiders waive Garoppolo contract after failed physical.

Jimmy Garoppolo's contract with the Las Vegas Raiders includes a waiver and release clause, Addendum G, that acknowledges his preexisting foot injury and allows the Raiders to terminate the agreement "for any reason related to the Waiver and Release." Garoppolo won't receive any payment until he passes a physical, and the waiver also waives his right to sue for any further injury or disability resulting from playing. The Raiders removed his $11.25 million signing bonus due to the injury, and his full $22.5 million salary will become base salary in 2023.
