UNC Starts Camp as Lombardi Investigation Enters Preseason

UNC opened preseason football camp as the university investigates general manager Michael Lombardi, who was placed on administrative leave July 27 amid an internal review. The College Sports Commission has reportedly shown interest in the case alongside UNC’s probe. Coach Bill Belichick said the staff has adjusted day-to-day operations while Lombardi is sidelined.
