"U.S. Women's Open at Pebble Beach: A Challenging Course for Some, Triumph for Others"
TL;DR
The featured group at the U.S. Women's Open, consisting of Lexi Thompson, Jin Young Ko, and Nelly Korda, struggled in the opening round, combining for 13 over par. Thompson shot a 2-over 74, while Ko and Korda had 79 and 76 respectively. Difficult course conditions, including overcast skies, wind, and thick rough, contributed to the high scores.
