TL;DR

Kenneth Walker III rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns to lift the Kansas City Chiefs to a 31-10 victory over the Denver Broncos in Patrick Mahomes’ return from knee surgery, with Walker and new teammates Mansoor Delane and R. Mason Thomas boosting a retooled KC offense. Denver’s new play-caller Davis Webb had a rough debut, and Sean Payton faced questions over his decision to hand the keys to Webb, while the Broncos’ defense struggled to stop the run and limit big plays, contributing to the lopsided result.
