Kennedy Center to scrub President Trump’s name after ruling

The Kennedy Center’s general counsel instructed staff to remove President Donald Trump’s name from signs, brochures, the website and other materials by June 12, and to update email signatures and letterhead immediately. The directive follows a judge’s ruling that the board exceeded its authority by adding the name, noting that only Congress can change the center’s name, amid backlash from the arts community.
