FAA Approves SpaceX's Massive Starship Rocket for Test Launch

The FAA has granted SpaceX a launch license for its 394-foot Starship, paving the way for the first test flight from southern Texas, which could take place as early as Monday. The license is valid for five years, and SpaceX has met all safety and environmental requirements. The test flight will not carry people or satellites and will last for an hour and a half. The spacecraft will be sent around the world, with the "Super Heavy" first stage discarded in the Gulf of Mexico and the spacecraft into the Pacific.
