Microsoft has completed its $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard, making it the company's largest acquisition ever. The deal required overcoming regulatory battles in the UK and US. With the acquisition, Microsoft plans to add Activision Blizzard's games to Xbox Game Pass and become the third-largest gaming company by revenue. The company now has more than nine game studios from Blizzard and over 11 locations from the mobile gaming King side of the acquisition. Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick will remain in place until the end of 2023 to assist with the transition.
