Samsung Unpacked 2026 kicks off with three foldables and two watches

Samsung revealed three foldables—Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Fold 8 and Flip 8—alongside Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2, all powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The Fold lineup uses Flex Titanium for a thinner, stronger chassis with upgraded cameras and up to 1TB storage; Qi2 charging remains unsupported on the phones without magnetic cases. The watches gain longer battery life, brighter displays, and new AI health features, with Gemini AI integration highlighted. Pre-orders are live and devices ship August 7; Samsung also teased AR glasses and a Galaxy Card credit card.
