Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris has unveiled its newly restored interior, five years after a devastating fire in 2019. The reconstruction, which involved cleaning and repairing the stonework and ceilings, has restored the cathedral to its former glory, with bright limestone walls and vibrant stained-glass windows. French President Emmanuel Macron visited the site, praising the extensive restoration efforts. The cathedral is set to reopen to the public in December 2024, with a series of ceremonies planned to mark the occasion.
