Tragic End for Elephant at Pakistani Zoo.

Noor Jehan, a 17-year-old elephant, has died at a Pakistani zoo after undergoing a critical medical procedure by a team of international veterinarians. The procedure was performed to assess several medical issues the elephant was facing. Despite all efforts, including bringing in a team of foreign experts for her treatment, Noor Jehan died after an accident just days after the procedure. The remaining elephant at Karachi Zoo, Madhubala, is mourning her long-time companion and needs to be transferred to a more species-appropriate location as soon as possible, according to Dr. Amir Khalil of Four Paws.
