Tragic End for Elephant at Pakistani Zoo.

Noor Jehan, a 17-year-old elephant at a Pakistani zoo, has died after undergoing a critical medical procedure by a team of international veterinarians. The procedure was performed to assess several medical issues the elephant was facing. Despite all efforts, including bringing in a team of foreign experts for her treatment, Noor Jehan died after an accident in her enclosure that left her unable to leave the pool for hours. Animal welfare experts are now urging the transfer of the remaining elephant at the Karachi Zoo to a more species-appropriate location to prevent another potential tragedy.
