Foreign Evacuations Commence as Fighting Escalates in Sudan

Sudan's military is coordinating evacuation efforts for diplomats and citizens from the US, UK, China, and France, while Jordan is preparing a similar operation for its nationals. The fighting between the army and the Rapid Support Forces continues, with neither party gaining a visible advantage yet. The army general Abdel Fattah al-Burhan called for talks to find a solution to the crisis, and a temporary ceasefire for Eid al-Fitr was ignored. Over two-thirds of hospitals in Khartoum and neighboring states are out of service, with 32 hospitals forcibly evacuated or caught in the crossfire.
