Sudanese Army and Paramilitary Forces Clash, Dozens Dead.

Dozens of people, including three UN workers, have been killed in two days of fighting between Sudan's military and a paramilitary force. The UN Secretary-General has condemned the violence and called for an immediate ceasefire. The pro-democracy Central Committee of Sudanese Doctors reported at least 56 civilians had been killed, as well as "tens of deaths" among security forces. The World Food Program has suspended operations in the country. Recent tensions between the army and the paramilitary force stem from disagreements over how the force should be integrated into the army.
