"IDF Foils Imminent Attack with Airstrike on Terror Cell at Jenin Mosque"

Israeli forces carried out an airstrike, possibly from a fighter jet, on a tunnel used by Hamas and Islamic Jihad members at a mosque in Jenin, West Bank. The terror operatives were using the mosque as a base to plan and carry out attacks, including detonating an explosive near Israeli troops. Two people were killed in the strike. This is believed to be the first fighter jet attack in the West Bank in 20 years. Tensions have risen in the West Bank since Hamas gunmen surged into southern Israel from Gaza, and clashes between IDF forces and Palestinians have occurred.
