Israeli soldiers shot and moderately injured a masked settler who was allegedly throwing stones at Palestinian vehicles in the West Bank. The incident occurred near the settlement of Ma'ale Levona, and the soldiers opened fire during a suspect arrest procedure after the settler allegedly threw an additional stone. The shooting came as security forces were searching for a terrorist who killed two Israelis in the West Bank town of Huwara. Clashes between security forces and Palestinians also broke out in the nearby town of Beita.
