American citizen receives life sentence for spying in China.

An American citizen, Liang Chengyun, has been sentenced to life imprisonment in China on charges of espionage. The 78-year-old, also known as John Shing-Wan Leung, had been held for over two years and was found guilty by the Suzhou Intermediate Court. He has also been deprived of political rights for life and had his personal property confiscated.
