British Court Convicts Teens for Brutal Murder of Transgender Girl Brianna Ghey

Two teenagers, a boy and a girl, were found guilty of the "horrific" murder of 16-year-old transgender teenager Brianna Ghey in northwest England earlier this year. Ghey was stabbed 28 times with a hunting knife in a "frenzied and ferocious" attack. The convicted pair, who were 15 at the time of the murder, had planned the attack for weeks and had a fascination with violence. Police ruled out transphobia as a motivation and described the murder as being done for "enjoyment" and a "thirst for killing."
