Car bombing targets Russian nationalist writer, leaves one dead.

Zakhar Prilepin, a prominent Russian nationalist writer, was wounded in a car bombing in the Nizny Novgorod region, and one person was killed. Russia immediately blamed Ukraine and the West for the attack, with a suspect being arrested. Prilepin is known for his outspoken support of Russia's actions in Ukraine and his nationalist views. The Russian Foreign Ministry accused the US and Britain of feeding an international terrorist cell, but provided no evidence. Two other pro-war Russian propagandists have been killed in bombings since Russia invaded Ukraine in February last year.
