Chef assaults Benedict Cumberbatch's London home with family present.

A former chef at a luxury hotel, Jack Bissell, launched a knife attack at Benedict Cumberbatch's £3.5m London home, leaving the actor and his family fearing for their lives. Bissell kicked his way through the front garden's iron gate, ripped the intercom off the wall, and made a series of terrifying threats. He was fined £250 and given a three-year restraining order banning him from approaching the Cumberbatch family and the area in which they live. It is not clear why Bissell targeted the Oscar nominee.
