China has executed a couple, Zhang Bo and Ye Chengchen, for throwing Zhang's two-year-old daughter and one-year-old son out of a 15th-floor window in 2020. The couple's motives were deemed "extremely malicious" by China's Supreme Court, with Ye seeing the children as obstacles to her relationship with Zhang.
