Escalating Violence in East Jerusalem: Multiple Shootings Leave Israelis and Palestinians Injured.

A Palestinian teenager was arrested on suspicion of carrying out a shooting in East Jerusalem's Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, injuring two Israeli men. The suspect, a resident of the Askar refugee camp, was detained during a raid in Nablus and implicated himself in the shooting during his first interrogation. The victims were treated at the scene and then taken to hospitals in the capital, where they were said to be in moderate and stable condition. The weapon used in the attack, a makeshift "Carlo" submachine gun, was found by officers nearby.
