Fatal Shooting Near Downtown Lincoln Leads to Arrest of Security Guard

A 52-year-old man was shot and killed in an apartment near downtown Lincoln, and Jacob Mulloy, 53, turned himself in and was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a felony. The victim and Mulloy were familiar with each other, but it is not known if they lived together. This incident marked the second homicide in the past three days in Lincoln, with the suspect in the first shooting not yet charged.
