German ISIS member Nadine K receives 9-year sentence.

A German court has sentenced a woman, identified only as Nadine K., to nine years and three months in prison for crimes against humanity, aiding and abetting genocide, human trafficking, and sexual violence. She was found complicit in her husband's enslavement of a 21-year-old Yazidi woman, whom he received as a "gift" from ISIS. The court found that Nadine K. enabled and encouraged the sexual abuse of the woman, who was forced into domestic and sexual slavery. The victim, Naveen Rasho, was able to return to her family in 2019, almost five years after she was first imprisoned by ISIS.
